What Is Security Awareness?

Security awareness is not only knowledge of IT terminology, IT vulnerabilities and how to protect them, but also acting quickly, appropriately and knowledgeably when someone is attempting to:

  • Take CDC property or access information without authorization
  • Obtain personal information about staff or vendors
  • Use CDC resources for illegal or unethical purpose

There are many security issues of which you need to be aware. We will discuss them in detail.
